Mission Statement:
I created Maroon Bells Web Design with the specific goal of taking some of the burden of self-promotion off of the shoulders of performers. With the amount of time we all spend taking class, honing our technique, going to auditions, meeting with agents, performing out of town, and working part-time jobs, it can feel as though we're burning our candles at both ends and still not getting noticed as much as we'd like.
A web site is an important tool, which can continue working for you while you sleep. It gives potential employers, agents, casting directors, and even family and friends instant access to information about you and your work. In a business where jobs are scarce and the competition gets more intense by the day, people need to be kept up to date about what you're doing and how to contact you. Having this information instantly at their fingertips can give you the edge you need to book the job you want.
Just as a performer's head shot needs to be a unique expression of his or her personality in order to be remembered, I believe that a performer's web site should also be unique and should say something about you as an individual. That's why I have no pre-set design templates for clients to choose from. I will design your site to be a reflection of who you are based on our consultation and an ongoing dialogue we'll keep up as we work together to build your space on the Internet.
As an actor myself, I understand the specific needs of representing performers. Presenting you to the world as a professional and an individual is my primary goal. I look forward to working with you and making your life as a performer just a little bit easier.
